Lin545: The OP wants to see version for every title he/she has not purchased yet, though.
Yes and your screenshot is from your Account after you've purchased it?
I get sick of all the update notifications for the games I do have. If I started getting them for the ones I don't own my fucking computer would explode.

On a positive note, I'd be so busy checking all of them I'd never have time to come in here and annoy the shit out of all of you.
As I said before: Ask kindly and someone might copy and paste the changelog for you.
going to individual games' subforums is also helpful

but it is more fun to whine, I suppose, for some

note: my issue is with the attitude, not with the issue raised

He's not asking for update notifications. He's asking for access to the changelog, which makes all the sense in the world.
Not sharing the changelog with people who don't own the game is like selling a used car but revealing how many miles it already has only after you buy it.

Why is it whenever someone whips out a comparison to help in their 'discussion', the comparison ends up being cars? Is there really nothing else in the world that could have a similar example to said situations?

Actually that's not a bad idea. :P

No, cars are everything and everything is cars.

Interesting question. I don't remember ever using a car analogy before. Most of my analogies tend to be from the world of folktales (e.g. in this case, "buy a pig in a poke", "let the cat out of the bag"), but this one seemed to fit well.

maybe because a lot of people identify with having/owning a car? or even if they don't drive/have a car (like me!), they still are aware enough about them that the usage works

Maybe something like that:
Not showing the changelog before you have bought a game is like having a one night stand without telling the girl before how long your penis is? No?

mrkgnao: snip
Oh, I see car analogies (thanks, forgot that word) around quite a few places. Once on person starts, the rest of the bloody discussion does, pretty much to the point where you forget what the original topic was.

There was a topic?
