Any chance of a truly DRM-free release of this new World of Assassination package on GOG now?

With the new announcement of Hitman Trilogy coming to pretty much all other stores, any chances of us getting in on the action, DRM free this time?
Might help if the executives in charge of future deals are not the same as the ones in charge of the last deal as I'd guess that unless they got a really thick skin, they might be feeling a little raw from the last deal that fell through due after the spectacular community backlash.

From the article:
"“Essentially, these two changes will mean that all new players and existing Hitman 3 owners will have the same base content ownership,” explained IO Interactive. “There will be no more confusion over which edition to buy, what content you own, how to redeem Legacy packs or import locations, etc. We’re done with that.”
Hitman World of Assassination will cost $70 and includes all Hitman 1 content, the base Hitman 2 package, and base Hitman 3 package. Players will then have the option to pick up a Deluxe Pack for $30, which includes all previously released DLC for both Hitman 2 and 3. Players who already have some but not all of the DLC will have the option to purchase what they’re missing at a reduced price."
It's lovely how the article first describes how they are getting rid of different game editions, and the following part describes DLC upgrading rules to get the full content.
Anyway, I am a bit confused about the whole thing.
Are they making one big game that has content from three different games, or is this basically just a compilation name for three different games?
If it's the former, then they are doing the worst thing of all things: pulling the original game entirely with no option to play it as it was originally released.
If it's the latter, I'm not sure this is going to help with any confusion over different editions, sequels and game names. Not even counting the fact that they are recycling names from the original games.

I doubt it releasing here.
I could be wrong, but after the (well deserved) backlash both iOi and gog received the chances are slim for them to try releasing it here again (imho).

Hitman 1+2 will be removed, because you can already play the missions from both games in Hitman 3.

I wonder if THIS is one of the reasons IO hasn't brought WoA versions of Hitman 1, 2, 3 here.
Maybe one day when the game's done, patched-up, old, and basically needs more units sold b/c they skipped the DRM-FREE crowd and to get some who'll double-dip on wanting a DRM-FREE version - if they'll just finally make an offline-working version of Hitman: WoA in full w/ all progression and whatnot?
I'd love to see it happen...and for now, we can probably dream on that one, though; especially after Hitman 2016 fiasco here on GOG.

Also, Hitman 3 is still getting content, so, that's another reason we won't be seeing a DRM-free version anytime soon, I'd guess.

And of course, one of the greatest benefits to this whole WoA release is that we will no longer be forced to deal with the confusing naming of Hitman: Agent 47 vs. Hitman (2016), and Hitman 2: Silent Assassin vs. Hitman 2 (2018).
