I think I've read somewhere that it's only the females that bite and suck our blood, so I think it's safe to say SHE got me ;) And yes, she got me several times over the last couple of days (at least four bites over the last three days).

I have two cats and they normally take care of everything ;) But this one seemed to be too smart to fly low enough to get into range of the furries...

I can certainly get behind this, mosquitoes are the only insects I have no issues killing on sight.

Heard something apropo on NPR a couple weeks back. Was something like, "If you feel you don't have the power to affect things larger than you, try sleeping in a room with a mosquito."

Yeah, we shouldn't really get them over here, but we've had a few in the last few weeks and they are killed on sight (or sound, they make a horrible buzzing..)
