It has come to my attention that the Restera forums has been spreading personal information about a CDPR employee in order to get back at them over them "harmful joke" Cyberpunk twitter told yesterday

The information is deleted now and I have not looked at it or spread it but I think people are taking a harmless joke way too far. The Cyberpunk twiter account also made the mistake of saying their joke was "harmful" which is ridiculous and I think gave justification to those that doxed the employee.

I think it has been a real let down to see how CDPR in gneral handles social media. What is it? Like the 5th time they tell edgy jokes on twitter and apologize 30 seconds after? Either stop apologizing or stop telling jokes to begin with,

Whatever revelation was going to be made on tuesday (I guess it was screenshots?) was overshadowed by a social media shitshow

Honestly companies should just stay away from social media, it is just a pit of toxicity where people are pretty much just looking for something to be offended about. That is not an environment for promoting a product, honestly that is not an environment for anything but people love it for some reason.

People find it fun (or maybe "empowering" would be a better word) to get outraged over things. Despite the partisan bullshit so many people here and...well, everywhere else spout, this doesn't even have anything to do with political leaning. There are assholes of every political stripe that like to get outraged over the most random shit, often on behalf of others.
