Will we get similar apologies for GOG's support not working as it should?
A good start but it would be nice if they can keep most of their promises. Good thing I'm broke and was not able to purchase the game. :D

It's already there for quite some time : https://www.gog.com/forum/general/expected_delays_in_support_replies

No, this one is like CDPR's announcement about CP2077's delay.
And apology without consequences means exactly nothing in this case.

No it's for the current state of the support in general. (Caused in big parts by the Cyberpunk issues)

I know it was about "the current state". What I was asking was about getting apologies at a similar scale to latest CP2077's one. The post you linked it's just a post. We need full time video with CDPR's management.

Reminded me of this.
With all due respect, yongyea is nothing but a news regurgitation channel where he regularly avoids taking any stance good or negative and just goes with the flow. No problems with the guy but his content is based on repeating articles and stating the obvious.

As for the apology, it's clear that Cyberpunk on pc is something they are proud of and they are only sorry for it's technical issues, particularly on console. The game is what it is and now I have serious doubts that there will be any major content outside of dlcs. The problem is people really overhyped themselves for this game. I like the Witcher 3 but that game was also a boring slog carried by it's excellent writing and characters. The closest CDPR has ever came to making a game that was carried by it's fun was Gwent. The immersion problems, shallow choices, overabundance of useless crap, etc. All stem from the Witcher 3. In fact almost every problem that people have with Cyberpunk is applicable to the Witcher 3. In that regard, Cyberpunk delivered in spades on what CDPR is good at.The game isn't GTA meets Deus Ex and it never will be.

As to why one game is touted as one of the greatest of all time while the other is slammed is beyond me or any other rational person. I can only conclude that the hate is born of ignorance of what CDPR's portfolio entails, or because hating games is something that is popular and people love to see popular things fail in the way they like to see unpopular things become successful. Or maybe it's just the technical issues? Really have no idea beyond CDPR being placed on a pedestal and the normies showed up thinking they were something they are not aka Rockstar games. Partial blame on CDPR too who clearly got too big in the head after having one major success.
