timppu: Logic says that people don't tend to hang around in places they hate so much.
Your (true) premise here is leading you to a wrong conclusion. I can't say OP thinks like me but I am still around
exactly because I don't hate Gog. I just don't like the way it has been heading so I added my voice to a group of people in an attempt to sway Gog's Board of Directors into making decisions that I feel are more adequate for us as customers. That's all. I'd love to see Gog taking steps that show real intent in supporting DRM-free and would gladly resume spending money here if they do that.
Of course, like I said I don't answer for OP so you might be right and he hates it all. But just being a boycotter doesn't automatically means wanting their downfall.
On your other point I agree that we shouldn't dismiss the effect the war is having on the global and specifically polish economies. Tho I'm not sure CDP would be doing fine if it wasn't for the war. We'll see when the bombs stop falling.
WinterSnowfall: No offense, but unless you own CDPR stock (or are planning to), I'd say your time is better spent elsewhere...
People interested in stock values don't use the GOG forums to get their info.
I don't have a direct interest in stocks. I have an interest in what a bunch of shareholders might demand of CDP because their profit is falling and what lengths the Board of Directors are willing to go to to appease these big wigs who do not care about games and absolutely wouldn't think twice if sacrificing the company and its values would raise next quarter's profits.
