lonewolfgk: Well thats it, bye bye CD Project Red.
Luckily i did not pre order your Cyberpunk game.
Will NOT buy your game anymore.
I cannot believe CD Project Red went WOKE .
Keep your game, you lost my support and money.
Is it the no genders thing? Yeah, they caved quickly to a vocal minority to make a few extra bucks(or not depending on if they buy it now or not). What can we do?
I wish CDPR would do a reverse like Ion Fury's devs, did.....pandering to special interests almost never works out and makes people happier in large numbers.
I will not stop my wishlisting of it, though....the game looks good regardless.

Aside: I just saw one of the edited out bits of the OP......is saying one thinks there are only 2 genders hate speech on gog forums? Wtf? So anyone can say there are infinite genders and that's ok but saying there are 2 genders is a no no? smh =============

blotunga: Lmao. I think they handled it correctly. There are no genders in the game. So you cannot really complain.
So what will they call everyone in game now if they can't or won't use he/him or she/her? They/them?

Ueber: My goodness, you are forbidding yourself the most promising game of the next years because of a small, not gamplay relevant detail?
How do you survive everyday life with such a sensitive mindset?
Keep calm and try to have fun with games. Playing Cyberpunk 2077 won't change your gender nor will turn you into a much feared commie lefitist.
I agree OP went a bit overboard with some of the language and was very crude, but a few points:
Some people don't want devs to give in to pandering to outrage mobs, as they usually want and get more later on & some don't even buy such games later anyways.
Taking out gender panders to a small number of people to gain good pr and make some extra money, and is done for the wrong reasons(note they did it now and not back during development proper....meaning they likely did it to appease such people after the outrage and not out of the kindness of their hearts to begin with).
