We have a family cat. He's a 15 year old ginger European Shorthair. He's the most evil creature you'll ever meet. When he was younger he used to lie in wait around corners and when you passed by he'd attack. And he definitely wasn't shy about using those teeth and claws. I still love him, though.

My favorite cat breeds are Maine Coons and Norwegian Forest cats. I just love those big fluffy ones. They're so beautiful.
When did the plural of "cat" get changed to "cat`s"? I thought it was just "cats".
Anyway, I have two orange tabby cats. One's got a lot of Abyssinian in him, the other is just sort of... a cat. Both are short haired. They're very friendly, which seems to correlate with something I heard; orange cats are the best tempered ones. Don't know if it's true or not.

I guess my cat didn't get that memo. :P

As for the 's thing - it's something that's easy to get wrong for foreigners. At least in Dutch we have several plurals that are formed by adding 's.

But it wasn't an ' it was a `. Which, at least on my keyboard, is way out of the way. My apologies though, I didn't mean to be rude, I was just making a joke.

Oh, I see. That sometimes happens for me, the keyboard seems to get some things wrong occasionally, and even though you press ' you end up with `. Maybe the OP had the same issue.

Don't worry, I got that. ;) Just wanted to make a note of it as a possible explanation so it seemed less odd.
I'm surprised Grargar hasn't posted in this thread yet, he loves cats.

On topic:

Had a cross breed persian once, very nice cat except she went everywhere she pleased around the house, unfortunately I had to give it away at some point as she was becoming a threat to my dogs. Still got a picture in her memory :-)
Street cats. Orange tabby male, Calico female. They are not "purebred" but their distinctive features, like color, sex and behavior, match perfectly. Especially my orange angel.

Where are you left wing people? Skipping (biology) classes again? Genes, at least in animals, at least in cats, DEFINE one's gender, color, even BEHAVIOR and the specific combination of these three, strongly related traits is typical! Color gene is tied to behavior even more, while the probability of an orange to be female is *almost* impossible; same applies to calico being male, which is *almost* impossible too!

The first cat was half angora born on the street named Maggie. He liked to stand outward at home does not sit still in one place. Then bore 4-5 kittens out not home.

Then it became like a beast and I got me one of the kittens grew up and which we named Jayo but it had any health problem nearly meowed Maybe it was hollow.

A colleague of my mother hasA colleague of my mother had a Siamese cat and gave us one of their small it was called magic. She even gave birth to three kittens as 2 stayed with us and one we gave it to a friend. one was Toby and the other lucky.

Maggie dispersed and threw it on the street in the neighborhood. pribrahmeya back but was already pregnant
and when born kittens do not want to stay with them We cherish them gave to his neighbors and friends.
and she went back on the street. Our stay just lucky who did it was the smaller of the first litter and had a broken tail.

Lucky liked to eat only fish and dry cat food
he died in 2006 around easter was 11 and a half years.
He died of kidney failure actually his kidneys were withered by
dry food you eat in large quantities.
