Carrie Fisher have had a heart attack on a plane to Los Angeles. At the moment it looks bad. Not much information yet.

It's been a bad year,hope she pulls through.

So... she is like 60 years old right now? Hope she recovers. Somehow I feel it might be related to flying a lot, my boss once got an embolism in his leg during a flight even though he was something like 45 at the time...

About hoping her to pull through, though, i fully agree and sympathize.

Sad, and I have a bad feeling that it may have to do with her drug abuse in the past. I hope she recovers since she had a crazy, CRAZY road up to this point.

She went into cardiac arrest and is now rumoured to be on a ventilator. This almost certainly means she have massive damage to her circulatory system. Her odds aren't good I'm afraid. Drug abuse tends to damage the circulatory system yes. That in combination with sitting still for a long time like you do on a plane is risky.

Well, if they could bring back Peter Cushing for Rogue One, they should be able to bring back Carrie Fisher for Star Wars Episode 8.

Of course, it will still be a sad day if she doesn't make it.

Damn, I hope she's alright in the end. My thoughts are with her.

She being on a ventilator seems to be correct information. That means she suffered brain damage during her heart attack probably because of lack of oxygen. Damn. I fear 2016 have claimed another great one.
