fortune_p_dawg: people keep blaming the year, but i fear things will get worse before they get better. crazy news indeed.
I saw my doctor today about a possible med switch and he told me not to expect anything to get better for at least four years.

We have a word for it in German. Or had one, I don't think it's much in use these days. "Nachsterben", literally: "to die after". The idea was very present during Romanticism. And even though it was, of course, romanticised, it is a psychological reality after all. The emotional distress is more than your body can physically take. :(

I was just at the theater the other day and apparently there's going to be a screening of singing in the rain to comemorate it's anniversary this year. And that was before she died.
