This is the new updated, revamped Carmageddon, based on the Carmageddon : Reincarnation.

Yes, it's from the same guys (Stainless) that owned the IP back in the 90's and that did the Kickstarter in June 2012.
It will finally arrive on consoles (XBONE and PS4) and shortly after it will be released on Steam.

Those that already have C:R will have C:MD for free. After the release it is expected to release versions for Linux and MAC.

Did Reincarnation ever get a DRM-free version? I remember reading that the multiplayer was going to be cut from the DRM-free version.

No, it didn't as they would only release the DRM-Free version once the game was running flawless-ly.

The game was released (Gold version) on June 2015. That version had issues with low FPS and a bunch of other major bugs.
After 3 updates (the last released at Christmas 2015) there were major advances in the FPS department and the graphics, but it still would not run on older hardware.

So i guess they're releasing Max Damage. Once everything gets sorted out, a DRM-Free version will be released here too (as promised).

I'm also waiting for Carmageddon TDR 2000 to be released here.
June THIRD?!

Bring it on!!!

Of course, I have nothing to play it on, but...

YES!!! }: }

I also await a TDR2000 release. I still have the game on disc in the original jewel case. Don't remember if I got it in a box. Also have it updated with the MAX PACK on disc.

Looks great (and the physics seem to be nice too), not sure though if i want so detailed pedestrian... smashing. :P
Nice! I'll definitely grab this for the Xbone. Any word on split-screen? The local multiplayer was one of the reasons why I loved the infamous Carmageddon 64.
