So a couple of days ago I got STALKER shadow of chernobyl for steam. After buying it, it gave me an activation code to use on other sites. Also, I read on a steam forum that whenever I want I can redeem it from gog. However, when I tried to redeem it, the site said there was a problem and that I should refresh the page. I did that and again I got the same error. I am completely new to GOG so I'm sure what I am supposed to do. Any help would be appreciated

Did you also read and understand the part about it not always working for Steam keys?

Not sure about your code, but the redeem page shows an error at the moment. I tried a few codes and it says something like: Oops, an error occurred. Refresh the page and try again.

Maybe try again later/tomorrow.

Actually my code can be used. I know that since there are people who have redeemed the game after buying it from steam. Also it is in the list of games that can be redeemed

and not all cd keys work with the reclaim your game initiative. certain batches are invalid, some others were lost from the database before gog even started the initiative.
