Can't remember the name of the DOS game probably end of the 1980s - very beginning of the 1990s (?)

it's been a kind of arcade on a black blackscreen (like Prince of Persia but definately not it)))) Unfortunately can't remember any details or names but there were lots of flying platforms with their own rythm very hard to get to and encounter with a big boss at the end of the principle levels with a single special ENCOUNTER warning screen with red letters on the balck background. Any ideas? The game was percet riddle and smart and very narrative, Wish I could remembr it's name - looked throught the catalogue of DOS games - either can't recognize or it's just abscent.

Hmm doesn't ring a bell. The only two I know of that sound even remotely like that is
monuments if mars and saboteur
Man - I loved Saboteur on my C64.
It's on the left of your keyboard, in the vicinity of the Tab and Shift keys.
Oh wait you weren't asking where you could find the Capslock key, never mind.
Hmm... Zeliard? Wish that game was here....
Zeliard, another cool Sierra game that isn't here.
Didn't it have a sequel as well?
Never played the sequel if it exists. But I loved that damn game so much... there definitely was a warning before every boss though, so that's why I think the OP might be talking about it.

Ah no I guess not, looks like the ending just makes you wish there was a sequel :P

I never got to play it myself, but I'll never forget seeing someone playing it once when I was a kid. The guy swooping on a hang glider seemed like the coolest thing ever! Don't really know why I haven't tried it out for myself after all these years. I should probably give it a go
