WTF? DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE PROBLEMS TO PURCHASE A GIFT?

a bug? or did gog disable gifting during the last 24 hours to condemn trading?

i was trying to buy kings quest games and quest for glory as gifts

after the process the payment via paysafe fails

problem solved:

aside from the 5 gifts per day rule, we have a new one: if you buy a title as a gift then there is a cooldown period in which you can't buy the same title as a gift again. for example: i bought yesterday kings quest 123 as a gift, so i can't buy it as a gift today. don't know how long the cooldown period will last. hopefully only 24 hours.

ok the cooldown takes exactly 24 hours

Which game is it?
If Van Helsing Final Cut is in your cart the gift button disappears for example.

Oh, did you buy lots in this sale, you might've triggered GOG's "anti-fraud" system.
Encountered it myself during the Insomnia sale, took support days to resolve.

thats odd, i can buy a not owned sherlock title, even as gift (at standart discount). looks like some protection to condemn trading individual games with full bundle discount!

ok i think i figured it out. aside from the 5 gifts per day rule, we have a new one: if you buy a title as a gift theen there is a cooldown period in which you can't buy the same title as a gift again. for example: i bought yesterday kings quest 123 as a gift, so i can't buy it as a gift today. don't know how long the cooldown period will last. hopefully only 24 hours.

You can't buy multiple gifts of the same game quickly? O_o
So many complications.
