On your Display options, under "Adjust Desktop size and Position" is "scaling mode" set to Aspect Ratio and "Perform Scaling on" set to GPU? This is the setting that gives proper full screen on devices for NVidia .

Should look like this.

Zzorrkk: Hi,

I can't play my DOSBox games in normal fullscreen anymore. The configuration tool allows me to choose fullscreen but all I get is a small screen with huge black borders an all four sides - the size depends on the scaling (2x or 3x) I choose in the menu. I ran several test with "master of magic" wich I was able to play in normal fullscreen before, using the whole vertical screen with black borders left and right due to the old aspect ratio. Windowed mode gets me a bigger window, but I'd like to play fullscreen as windowed mode kills all the atmosphere for me. I tried some other games and had the same problem...

Im using a NVidia gtx980 with the latest drivers running windows 8.1. And yes - I've got the supersampling feature disabled in the drivers. Before I had a gtx680 (same windows) and everything worked ok.

Can anybody help me?

Zzorrkk: OK - seems like Dedee gave me a great hint: Here for all in english (at least I'll try to translate it):

Go to the NVidia sytem panel and check in "desktop size and desktop position". The type of scaling should be something like "aspect ratio" or "fixed aspect ratio" and the scaling should be done by the GPU as opposed to your monitor. I my case the default setting was scaling by monitor. After switching to GPU everything was ok.

Thanks again to all

gunsynd: Did you try Alt and Enter?
Yeah - it just switched between window and the small fullscreen I descibed earlier

Did my previous post yield any results?

Sorry for not replying earlier - I think your post was written when I already had the solution worked out. Like you wrote setting things to GPU scaling did the trick. That was what I had already written two posts before ;)

Thanks anyway for helping
