Hello,
I have very little experience with PC gaming and general PC Tech issues, so I apologize if this is a simple question.
Yesterday I wanted to see what Grim Dawn would look like on my 4K TV and played for a bit with my TV as the monitor. Now, when trying to play on my laptop again, the game loads and I can move the mouse icon around, but I can't select anything in the menu box such as options or start game. The UI looks like it's smaller, probably because I changed it on TV.
I can play on TV, but I can't change the resolution back to 1080p while on TV. The only option that shows is the current, 4K 60hz that it's using on TV. I thought that might be how to fix it, that maybe the UI or resolution was causing the problem.
So, I need help figuring out how to play again on my laptop.
Thank you!

Very little experience probably means Windows 10, so right click on the empty desktop and you get to display settings. Select the recommended resolution and change to the primary monitor if needed.

Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately I has checked the Windows settings already and for my main monitor, the laptop's, it's still at the correct, recommended setting.
I could be wrong, but I believe the settings that need to change are the in-game graphical settings, the ones I changed when I was using my TV. Unfortunately, like I said, the in-game cursor doesn't seem to work on the menu selection buttons. The cursor moves and the mouse wheel changes my characters, which I can also rotate. It's just that nothing happens when I click on options, or start, or anything else in the menu on the game's main screen.

Thank you anyway for trying to help.

If you or anyone else seeing this has any other ideas I would appreciate them. I've tried everything I can think of.

I don't have the game, but you could try looking here and see if you can change the resolution back.
