I've been using my PayPal account just fine all this time, but suddenly it does not show up when I want to check out anymore. I can only choose payment via credit card, which I cannot use as I do not own one. Has anybody experienced similar problems?

This may well be a glitch on GOG's part, had some trouble with a purchase yesterday (not via PayPal, but still), possibly due to high traffic.

If you're trying to make the purchase via the site, you may want to wait a bit and try again later, perhaps even try clearing your cache before trying again.
If the problem persists, contact GOG Support.

Did you refresh the page, or try again later? Maybe clearing your browser with CCleaner does the trick, if anything else doesn't.
I just purchased a few games with PayPal, and the option was there (I'm using Firefox).

Why would Germany block Paypal? O_o
Or Paypal block Germany, I guess that's also a possibility. :P

I guess he isn't really in Germany:
1.) Paypal works for me and the last time i checked Bayreuth was in germany.
2.) Paypal is blocked for people in Turkey since 6th june.

He may be from Germany but maybe he is currently in turkey for example, or other country who blocks paypal

It's possible he's not actually in Germany. ;)
I know someone from Turkey was complaining a little while back that PayPal had ceased serving customers in that country.

EDIT: Now I understand -- it's not actually night here, it's just all these ninjas jumping down onto me that're blocking out the sun. :P

I usually assume the country set is legit when they complain about stuff like this and don't mention otherwise. :P
