Hi
I have an old Nokia flip phone and i wanted to download the message history for a pending legal case.

Of course i lost the computer connection cable years ago, so i wanted to buy a new cable, however, ran into a slight problem.....

it doesn't have a model number written anywhere, and i cannot even find it in the settings.... like most mobiles.... which is always annoying, since every time i want to do something with any mobile, the first question asked is always "what model is it?" All i can ever say is "nokia" or my new one "samsung" they say "yea but what model is it?" I say "well i am looking at my phone and all it says is Samsung, thats it, i am telling you what i know"

At least the Samsung has the model number in the settings, but where do i find the model number for the Nokia? its not in the settings menue? or any other menue that i can find?

Does it have a removable battery? If so, remove the cover, and the battery. Somewhere inside the battery compartment, or the inside cover, you might get lucky and find a serial and model number printed somewhere. Other than that, you might be able to find it searching here: Nokia Museum Good Luck!

Also, look here, and see if you can track it down...

It probably is in the settings but they put that in different places depending on the type of phone, do you know what the model number is?

Sorry, couldn't help myself.
