I have an old Nokia flip phone and i wanted to download the message history for a pending legal case.

Of course i lost the computer connection cable years ago, so i wanted to buy a new cable, however, ran into a slight problem.....

it doesn't have a model number written anywhere, and i cannot even find it in the settings.... like most mobiles.... which is always annoying, since every time i want to do something with any mobile, the first question asked is always "what model is it?" All i can ever say is "nokia" or my new one "samsung" they say "yea but what model is it?" I say "well i am looking at my phone and all it says is Samsung, thats it, i am telling you what i know"

At least the Samsung has the model number in the settings, but where do i find the model number for the Nokia? its not in the settings menue? or any other menue that i can find?

Zoltan999: Does it have a removable battery? If so, remove the cover, and the battery. Somewhere inside the battery compartment, or the inside cover, you might get lucky and find a serial and model number printed somewhere. Other than that, you might be able to find it searching here: Nokia Museum Good Luck!
