If not too late will enter for Endless Space Emperor Edition

Can't say much about Canada, as i don't know much about it, except the fact that they do have a rather great hockey team.

Would like to thank trentonlf, snowkatt, iamsinistar and many, many others for their continuous generosity (even when people acted poorly, they still continued giving).

Also would like to remember and say thanks to some old members like Schnuff, wpegg, spinorial and thespian (i miss those guys and their posts). And yeah, i still blame wpegg for getting me into Lords of the Realms (my time went over the window because he showed me how to play the first two games in his great, in-depth, tutorials). Thank you, wpegg, for a long-lasting pass-time.

I have too many thanks to give and too little space, so i will say sorry and thank you for all the people that i can't add here.

Sorry for not naming you and thank you for your generosity.

bler144: At least I didn't write 'Chretien' in place of 'cretin.'
lol or vice versa :P

bler144: I was mostly trying to be nice to TinyE. Have they even had a good year since Wendel Clark retired?
I'm not into hockey enough to know many players names, just enough to know to talk smack about the leafs.

bler144: Wait a minute, I thought you were Canadian! ;) [...]

HypersomniacLive: Perhaps I am? I'm not sure, and I can't remember where I've put my passport, the years are getting heavy on my shoulders.
He's from the Vatican, he could be the pope. O.o

No, we already have a pope on GOG.

I'm the Reserve Pope.

Funny you say that. The mention of him being Canadian was a bit of an inside joke from a PM HSL/I had last month (I think not long after Hijack's "reserve guru" claim?), and we had this exchange:

I think you've got me mixed up with someone else, I'm in Europe, never been to the US, most likely never will in this life time. :-)

BLER144 Sep 27, 2015 – 11:34
ah, that's right - you're from...Vatican City?

I'm guessing you are Reserve Pope? If you were actual Pope you would have been in the U.S. last week ;)

>>> I'm guessing you are Reserve Pope? If you were actual Pope you would have been in the U.S. last week ;)

Those are some nifty deduction skills! You should put them to good use and play a certain game sometime, it's called called Forum Mafia.

Edit - ha, HSL beat me to the punchline.

Of course, but as with all Reserves...
I'm in for wolfsrain!

I am thankful for so many things. I am married to my best friend, she's truly awesome considering she puts up with me LOL. I am extremely thankful for my children, it's amazing how life changes when you have them (they are 17 and 18 now). I am so thankful for my job, I work with some of the greatest people I've ever known. Makes it easy to get up and look forward to actually working. Here on GOG I've met so many wonderful people, the list would be extremely long if I mentioned everyone so I will just say a special thank you too Sage103082, Cyberevil, HyperSomniaclive, crewdroog, and dedoporno. They have all touched my life in a wonderful way and I am so grateful to know them.

Thanks for the great giveaway!!

Does that mean you're gonna assassinate him? You could always go for a "power behind the throne" thing, except more of a "power behind the hat"

And thanks to you for entering, and reminding everyone that this was originally a GA thread and not just GoG PopeChat. ;)

As much as I'm enjoying the conversation:
/bump for more entries

I've not decided yet, but whatever route I go, I intend to be more successful than Iznogoud.

OK, now that we've cleared up all the Pope issues, back to the GA!

Looks like ZFR made it all on his own, congrats and have fun!

May I switch my support entry to someone else? I'll even fulfil the rules anew! I may? Yes? Cheers!

Seeing all the suffering caused by war, I'm extremely grateful that I was born at a time Europe was done with it, and that I live in a country where there's peace. A cliché, but I wish there were world peace.

Sang-Froid: Tales of Werewolves is nice, multi-genre game developed by Canadian Company Artifice Studio that takes place in 19th century Canada, and has one of the most beautiful soundtracks. Cheers go out to each and all fellow GOGgers that have gifted/ given it away!

And do you see that guy in post #54? That's one of the great GOGgers I spoke of earlier. A truly wonderful, caring person I was fortunate to meet, and humbled to be his friend; may life bring only good things to him and his family.

I'm in for Leonard03

Tue bump.

I haven't updated my spreadsheet since Sun, but I think we have something like 7 entrants (including those in for others) for 4-5 games of the 14 remaining.

Would like to see some more!
Not in. But I'll say this: Canada is THE place to be during autumn! The place is just beautiful! The trees have the most amazing colours, and the light is great!

However, a warning for those in Europe: the prices they show in stores does NOT include taxes! I kept forgetting it, and it was driving me mad. I felt like either the store owners were trying to trick me or my mathematical skills were failing me badly! :-)

I look forward to travel to Toronto again! Let us try winter next time! :-D
hope errbody had a good one! enjoy yours American friends!
