jsidhu762: Hello everyone!
I know it's not 'till Friday...but...Happy Canada Day everyone!
Tim Horton's should be open that day. I think the only day they close is Christmas. Also, rejoice at the fact that Justin Bieber is no longer our problem.
So what are your plans for Friday? Barbeque? Fire works? Not sure what I'll be doing myself.
Edit: For tourists in Toronto, the Eaton Center will be open from 10 am - 6 pm.
Getting work done. Spent some time watching the Trudeau/Obama parliement speeches.
I'm not really a festive person. Low key is more my style.
Happy Canada day. Long live the Canadian way of inclusiveness and tolerance.
tinyE: I know I'm gonna get my ass kicked for this, but how independent can a country be if they still insist on putting the Queen of England on their money? ;P
The British monarchy doesn't mean much nowadays. It's more of a vestigial historical thing.
I'd be worried if they'd put the British Prime Minister on the bills.
Garrison72: Canada...still our pet state: The U.S.
Enjoy the truth boys. You can't Trudeau out of that one.
How do you figure that one out? You're the ones sinking all that tax capital into defense spending and being right next door, we're just reaping the benefits without having to spend a dime.
jsidhu762: I'll have to try their red velvet cookie. Have you had their strawberry shortcake doughnut? It's really good. I think they still have it. It looks like a cute little burger. Just keep in mind it's pretty messy. The filling oozes out and the top and bottom are covered in powdered sugar.
I'm stuck to a low carb diet, enough about Timmy's already :(.
PS: Why are Americans posters puffing their chests on Canada day? Feeling insecure or something?
