We're doing a surf and turf. Going to BBQ some beef tenderloin, and getting some seawater from the Whiterock beach to boil some lobster. Not sure what's on the dessert menu, but the wife was making noises about some sort of pie. Then a couple ice cold beers and finishing with a nice single malt scotch, eh.

I know it's not 'till Friday...but...Happy Canada Day everyone!

Tim Horton's should be open that day. I think the only day they close is Christmas. Also, rejoice at the fact that Justin Bieber is no longer our problem.

So what are your plans for Friday? Barbeque? Fire works? Not sure what I'll be doing myself.

Edit: For tourists in Toronto, the Eaton Center will be open from 10 am - 6 pm.
Probably making a poutine and sprinkling diced back bacon on top with maple syrup. Then possibly polishing my snow shoes.
You got the Bieber thing right eh! :)
Oh yeah, I almost forgot... A nurse is coming over here on Friday to provide some free government healthcare by changing the wound dressing on my foot with the new medical supplies I got for free today.

If you took out the services necessary because of booze and hockey* it would only cost about $80 million a year for everything else.

rampancy: I still miss Eaton's. I used to love going to their massive toy section on Christmas when I was a kid, and drooling over the GI Joe Defiant Space Shuttle.
I'll have to try their red velvet cookie. Have you had their strawberry shortcake doughnut? It's really good. I think they still have it. It looks like a cute little burger. Just keep in mind it's pretty messy. The filling oozes out and the top and bottom are covered in powdered sugar.

Freeway, Break Up, Dark City, Eye For An Eye, Flashback is fun

I think Lost Boys is waayyyyy over-rated.
