I'm not a fluke, I'm Ven. Hello.
I like the alternative finnish anthem
I think this might be a good opportunity to share the wonderful news - new album by Leonard Cohen!

Here's one of the new songs - You Want it Darker. You have no idea how happy it made me to hear he's still working, and that despite health problems his talent still shines through, for it's a genuinely superb song.

tinyE: Mr Bungle are one of the most unique and unappreciated bands of all time.
That would be the Wall of Voodoo. Is it bad that I like their cover of Ring of Fire more than the original?

tinyE: WTF!
That was a serious post.

Mr Bungle are one of the most unique and unappreciated bands of all time.

I'm willing to bet there are more than a few fans of them lurking in this forum. :D
I wasn't refering to video in your post, but "indian superman". Seriously, don't look it up in youtube. It gives you cancer.
Btw, I am actually glad I hear that song you post first before anything else. That song is very "out there", it destroy that block in my head I called "expectation".
Weird song, but also very enjoyable :)

The first one is blocked in my country I have to use vpn to watch it. You're right. It is a lot better after being mashup rather than listen to them individually. That banjo is awesome. The violin is also great.

That... is Finnish anthem???? O.O

Where the Truth Lies from the intro of The Legend of Prince Valiant. There's a long version too.

Well, not official one anyways, but is song that most accurately portrays proud finnish heritage.

Great song. I never know this animation. Is this good?

That must be some kind of special heritage you got there to be portrayed that way :D

I used to love it as a kid, so I'm afraid my judgement is completely clouded by nostalgia. I'd say it's a pretty cool series, with passable animation, great artwork and cheesy voice acting. I can't remember much about the story though.

Something that I think might've aged a whole lot better, and also with a cool intro song, is The Mysterious Cities Of Gold.

However my favorite will forever remain this one :)

Never heard of them either. The Mysterious Cities Of Gold looks very interesting. That Bravestarr horse-man wink though :)

Found them interesting and good tracks I recommend, while I was on a hunt for music tracks that were used by a polish gaming TV channel called Hyper (I wonder if GOG staff knows about it)

Thank you for Wall of Voodoo. That Ring of Fire is very good.
Happy to introduce you to both. Wall of Voodoo had a rather short career, but Stan Ridgway (the singer) went on to a solo career, and had some really great songs, like Drive She Said and The Big Heat.

As for Cohen, probably my ver favourite singer ever, you have decades of great songs to listen through. Just a few I love most
Suzanne
Closing Time
I'm Your Man
Joan of Arc
Take this Waltz
Hey, That's No Way to Say Goodbye
