my name is grompy catte: Telika literally goes on to say that.

DoomSooth: I'm saying it, too. I said it before he did. What about it?
Why would you need to restate it then? Telling someone something they themselves just said seems redundant.

Exactly. Why would he tell me, then?

TurdFerguson87: However, it's also a multiplayer game, and thus requires the necessary client to connect to other players. Like, almost every game that uses your account on each platform is gonna need it's client to work with the online function, so it is naturally it's own DRM system. Especially with cross-platform games, which needs to exchange the latest data with other platforms. No-brainer.
I played dozens of multiplayer games over the years, none ever required any kind of third-party account. None required any kind of third-party client either.

The idea that multiplayer needs DRM is a recent one, and was not accepted before Valve huge pro-DRM campaign.

I said "almost every" for a reason - as I'm already aware of it, so that inherently already covers the exceptions you've just now made redundant.

Funny I seen people arguing steam is not pro-DRM and DRM is not actually problem nowadays

It's as big of a problem as one makes it, unfortunately most people don't give a rat's ass about it as long as 1. they get the achievements and all the usual BS and 2. everything works (in that order).

What's funny is that people consider DRM copies and copies free of DRM to actually be of the same value while clearly DRM-free copy is of higher value (as long as it's kept up to date as much as the DRM copy), because there are perks that DRM copy simply doesn't have, like ability to play it without internet connection whatsoever.

That’s a good hint that their pro-DRM campaign has been a success ;)

To agree with you. Why would you then need to say it back to the person who just agreed with you?
