Hey, I wanted to purchase mafia 2 and am wondering whether my laptop can run that game.
Does anybody made experience with worse hardware, but were able to run the game?

Below are my specs.
I also made a detection run to determine, whether it would run or not, but it is theoretical.

I appreciate the help.

Try to search some tests on Youtube, for example - Mafia 2 UHD 620. Maybe it helps.

30fps on low is playable, basically like a Switch port lol.
I played it on a laptop with an intel hd 4000 (an older and less powerful hd than the one you have) and only 6gb ram at 720p. However, it looks like your cpu is lower powered than the one I had.

Edit:

According to this it should boost up to whats needed, so I would think you'll be safe -

Based on a couple of YT videos, it performs considerably better than that.

Not sure about the CPU though, is 1.6GHz really the maximum, or does it switch to some higher freq turbo mode when needed?

I was responding to the YT video linked above my post, which shows a 29fps average on the benchmark.
