Hi!
I'm playing Baldur's Gate 3 for the first time and patch 5 has come up, the problem is that I don't have enough space to intall it , so I'm planning to uninstal it and reinstall it again, but I don't want to loose my progress as I'm in Act 3 already. I've never had to do this before so I'm not sure if save files are kept in the cloud or if someone could point me where can they be (like some common pathway) so I can keep them to load after reinstalling the game.

If you start the game via Galaxy, you can see there if cloud saving is activated.

Also, when you uninstall a game, you get asked if you want to keep your savegames on the hard disk (no cloud is needed for that, just disk space).

And if you trust neither, you can always backup the savegame dir mentioned in the previous post.

Thank you! I do start it through the app and it asked me if I wanted to keep it. I'm reinstalling it now, thank you again! :)
