I dislike use many game plateforme, i focus ons team ( simply because im on it for 16 year) but steam start to be greedy.
So, if i buy a game here, i would like to activate it on steam ( its easier to get all game in the same palce + i have my friends ) or they are a way to mix my game from gog and steam together ?
GOG is it's own store so no keys for Steam or any other client are provided. All GOG games though are DRM free so no client is needed you can just download the offline installer and play.

You can add a non Steam game to Steam in the tab menu's or you can use GOG Galaxy and link your Steam account to Galaxy.

It depends on the game, but for 99% of the games, then no, you cannot.

GOG games almost never have Crossplay between GOG and Steam.

So for that reason if you are looking to play a multiplayer-based game, then it's usually much better to buy it on Steam than GOG. I wish that wasn't the case, but it is.
Thank you both was usefull :)

So why not just buy on steam, you will find their games cheaper if you shop around for keys, and they have a vast library? Honestly interested as the selling point here is drm free and that doesn’t appear to be something your interested in.

They are some good sales right now on GOG, and i fell steam start to be rough on sales .... look like other gaming plateforme make them less generous. They are some nice game under good sale here, but some are coop/ multiplayer game, and if i cant play easily with my friends ( or random people, depend wich game is ) its a bit a wast.

Honestly, I think it really depends on the game that you're buying to be able to make that determination. Many of the games a decade ago had their own servers, and if those servers were *replaced* by servers now sponsored by GoG or Steam or some such, then yes... otherwise the ability to play online would largely be independent from which place you're buying it from.

That would depend on the game. Some games work fine multiplayer, some games work in theory but are totally isolated from the bulk of the player base on Steam. In practice, that equals that multiplayer.

What game is it you have in mind?

They are some game i keep a eye on (and they are on sale) :
Divinity original sin 2
Outward
Aragami
Hammerwatch
Saint row
And some warhammer game
If all your friends are on Steam and you're into multiplayer it's probably easier just to stick to Steam. Or you need to convince your friends to get the mentioned games here too. ;-)

Most people are probably here for DRM-free singleplayer games.

Yeah i think DRM free is the big thing here on GOG, its a bit sad steam is gettng so greedy, i hope GOG and epic are going to baance the market and force to be cooler, like before. I guess im going to hope for a good sumemr sale on steam ? its been a while i havent see one :p

Divinity Original Sin 2 and Outward have the crossplay with Steam confirmed so you wouldn't have a problem. In their subforums you can find a lot of discussions about it. In addition, the crossplay is often indicated in the game card at the bottom.

I also think the multiplayer community is growing on GOG, so if you try asking around maybe you can find someone to play with on GOG too.

(First I'll say you didn't deserve the downvotes, other than you may have been able to find this info through Google.)

You want all your games in one place on Steam? :) (I get it tbh) You've been here since 2018, why are you just asking now?

In any case, no, you'll never get Steam keys here because GOG and Steam are competitors. You can add game shortcuts to Steam as "non-Steam game", but you won't have things like achievements.
