I went to a walkthrough site and right click on each walkthrough page and choose to save it as internet complete. While not connected, I chose to print, dual sided, quality standard vivid, color, etc. Every time the paper jams; page 9 prints ok but when it rolls over for page 10 it jams. another section of another document does the same on page 11-12. All other pages of multi part documents does OK.

Or could the documents as a whole be infected? By the way I'm using an Epson Echo Tank ET-4750.

And, when the H**L did this site start using cookies?

All websites use cookies.

Highly unlikely that the printer has a virus. Paper jams are usually mechanical issues or user error when loading paper (e.g. not adequately separating a ream of paper). Try disassembling and reassembling the unit, using a smaller volume of paper, re-sifting the paper before re-loading and finally reducing print speed (a proxy for that would be increasing quality).

Finally, it never hurts to run a system wide virus check, but I don't believe you have a virus that is impacting your printer.
No, yet trojans and malware are possible but rare and I don't believe that they would cause the error(s) you are experiencing. Have you tried contacting Epson's technical support?

Since 2008. How did you imagine that websites worked?

I dunno...but here's a fun little fact you may/may not know: they(new ones) are all tagged with tech to watermark every page you print.

Hmm, a thought I just had.....maybe there's something on those pages you mentioned that the printer cannot print for some reason(low ink of one type or something the printer isn't allowed to print[iirc printers are also built to not duplicate things like pictures of money])?

With how cheap printers are, you should just buy a new one(or get one used off of eBay/etc if you wanna go even cheaper)...with how much ink can cost, it's often the cheaper option.

Doing this sort of thing to your old one is, of course, optional
(though if you choose the above route, do make sure to recycle the parts when finished....earth first and such ;D)

The ET-4750 originally cost $500 three years ago. Heck, I could just print one side each sheet. I suspect something is wrong with some of the sections of the document. Each section is anywhere from 28 to 39 pages. Some of those sections never jammed.

Someone should make a printer that prints both sides of the page at once.

Today is the first time that I've seen the cookie screen on GOG!

500? For general use, you should never spend more than 50-100 for a printer.

The document file could be corrupted a bit, then.

For me, as well.

The ET-4750 is NOT a general use printer. It has huge ink tanks instead of little cartridges. Refills for the 4 colors are enough for nearly a year and a half and they are far cheaper than cartridges.

Cookies? Why are they trying to get me to accept them after all the time I've been on GOG?

The printing issues you are having reminds me of things I ran into at my first job at a photo lab. We did mainly school pictures (autumn) and yearbooks (spring). During Yearbook season one of my jobs was in digital pre-press and I was tasked with doing the final pre-print proofread and then convert the book pdf into postscript files for the plate machine. If there was anything malformed about the book pdf then the postscript file would not render properly.
So, it seems there is something in your saved webpages that your printer is hanging on when it gets to that page. Is there a different format you could convert the 'webpage complete' version of the files into?

Problem is that if the thing messes up enough then you either get it fixed(might be pricey) or live without print capability....all that extra ink or no.

That is still a general use printer. Unless you're working on even a small scale industrial level, its general use.
,,,of course, yer missing out being a printer owner and all...
O.O

This is why I bought a Brother laser printer from an eCycler and never looked back.
Nothing quite beats the pants off the savings you get from having to buy a toner cartridge once every...well, we still haven't had need to buy a new one.

I'd sooner brave the trials of Dante's Inferno than ever deal with an inkjet or Windows printing ever again.
