Leonard03: Looks really fun but my computer couldn't run it, my Internet probably couldn't handle it, and it's a bit pricey.
Are you sure? It's designed to run on pretty much anything, it really isn't demanding.

As for internet connection, I had the same worry, but I asked in the support forums, they had me do a network test then gave me the greenlight, and so far it's run perfectly. You could check with them.

Well I'm currently using a GeForce 210 and running lubuntu. I dual-boot with 32 bit Windows XP, so no go.

Hmm, might be ok then. How much data does it use up?

Spy_Gentleman: I like how people complain about an online multiplayer game, because it has no single player. Seriously, the single player in this kind of game won't work at all.
[sarcasm]
Because we ALL know that having a single player campaign, possibly short ones for each character that furthers the story/lore, teaches you the mechanics, and gives you unique situations not possible in MP is totally not doable...

I think it needs 4gb of ram, so 32 bit wouldn't cut it.

The download was almost 7gb
I've heard recently the matchmaking from Valve is SO GOOD for Overwatch, that your 20 minute games now push over an hour because everyone is so well matched to eachother... You know, because everyone wants your casual games to push 60+ minutes of stalemating

Maybe Diablo 3 can be detached and played offline in singleplayer mode.. and modded and really good stuff made of it. We all know how the real money auction house went, which was the sole reason it was forced always online anyways.

Perhaps. My favorite is a mod for D2 called Zy-El. infinite stash and shared stash, millions of recipes, revamped and returning monsters, new monsters, etc.

DaCostaBR: I've never been much into multiplayer games, even less team-based ones, I don't like feeling indirectly responsible for someone else's enjoyment of a game, but I took the plunge with this one a couple days ago and I'm loving it!
My thoughts exactly, never really enjoyed this sort of game, always felt that it was much too serious to enjoy. Overwatch however, I just really enjoy. Unfortunately its taking away from my other game playing at the moment but is worth it :)

Yep. Ironically, I actually have 5 GB of RAM in the computer, all usable by the (64 bit) lubuntu, but not ol' XP.
