tootbrush: That debacle is rather irrelevant as far as this game is concerned. This is Sledgehammer's CoD, so it's been in development since Advanced Warfare.
Well, hard to tell. The development of a CoD game usually takes two years, by November 2017 it will have been three years since Advanced Warfare, so things are seriously off here already, God knows what they've been doing in the extra year. They may have been working on an unannounced CoD game that's been put on hold or cancelled after the terrible reception of the reveal trailer of Infinite Warfare for all we know. In November it will also have been a year and a half since the very positively received reveal trailer of Battlefield 1, theoretically giving them enough time to adjust their project to that. I'm not saying that a new WW2 CoD is definitely a result of Battlefield 1's larger popularity compared to Infinite Warfare but I certainly wouldn't dismiss that option either.
