As in there is a BRAND NEW UPCOMING Call of Cthulhu game in development, I am not talking about Dark Corners of the Earth.

Does this look like the spirtual sequel to DCOTE?

Yeah, I think it was announced about a year ago? As far as I know it's due for release in time for Halloween this year. Looks like it will be Steam exclusive, though.

Apparently they want to focus on investigation/exploration and atmosphere, just like the early parts of CoC:DCotE. Sounds like it has a lot of potential, and it's one of the few new games I'm currently looking forward to.

Looks okay. A mix of amnesia and vampyr, though I think it would be better if the protagonist started out with no outstanding mental health issues instead of being an alcoholic with PTSD. It's far more fun to doubt your sanity when you think you're sane.
