He didn't get kicked off Youtube, though—it's just his little side-venture of a show that got canceled. Not sure how all of that works, but his actual channel only seems to have been removed from some premium advertising thing it was apparently a part of. Other than that, business as usual.

I would make a comment about the type of people in power at Disney and how they would be offended by his anti-Semantics, but it would make me anti-Semantic. I have to watch those videos in question to make a judgement. If anything, for a corp greedy like Disney, I don't see them doing it out of 'principles'.

There are worse people on Youtube that needs to go, such as c***faces like Leafy and H3H3. The whole incest ridden clusterfuck of YouTube drama-field needs to go. YouTube is absolutely nothing about principles, they harbor these people and promote videos that break the law, or how about full on pornography masquerading as 'educational', while taking down channels and videos of smaller channels. YouTube will turn an eye on any offending contents as long as they are profiting from it. I have no love for YouTube.

Yeah, no -- I read the article and apparently they just removed certain videos, and kicked him from certain special affiliate/sponsoring programs, but he's still around. What's with your strong opinion on the guy, anyway? I've never watched a single of his videos and couldn't care less, but if he has 50+ millions subscribers, then obviously many people enjoy his content. If you don't, just ignore him? Works for me.

As for the content of those specific offensive videos, it sounds to me like people just got their panties in a twist over some ( bad ) jokes. If he wasn't so popular, I doubt anyone would even care.

He's still on YouTube, the only that got axed was his partnership with Disney and his YouTube Red exclusive show.

I don't watch any of his videos because they're just not for me, but from every interview or snippet I've seen of him he alsways seemed like a reasonable and likeable guy.

Google need him more than he needs Google... a temporary punishment... he probably has a direct line to Youtube's / Google's CEO

Yeah it was in the news here too. What happened, why did he post such videos? I presume he was overstressed (which is why he said already earlier he will be having time off from his Youtube channel), so I am guessing he had some kind of mental breakdown.

Or then he got a god complex ("I am the biggest Youtube star in the unverse!") and thought he can do anything. Or, since he wanted to have time off, he decided to commit a social media suicide.

I think I've watched the first minute of one of his videos in the past, just trying to understand what that phenomenom is all about. I still don't get it, but at least it is over now. I guess he got a nice amount of money for his videos so he should be ok, I think. He might even get elected to the Swedish parliament for the Sverigedemokraterna party (the Swedish neonazi party).

From the looks of it, apparently he's on the hit list quite often from the media, mis-represented and lied about; So he trolls the leftist media.

This whole series of events is a cock-up cascade. If I were Disney, having recently inherited Polaris/Maker, I would have audited the whole thing and the first to go probably would have been him. His career began with shouting "rape" down a microphone. If I were some suit, that would already give me pause about paying him.

Imho everybody should be allowed to make bad jokes although I really don't care for him since he is indeed quite obnoxious.
