How will buying additional copies of existing games in my library be displayed in my library and how will this affect manageme of licence keys?
You can't have multiple copies in your library. If you try to buy a game you already have, you are informed at checkout, that you need to buy it as gift.
And you can't redeem gifts of games you already own ;-)

If we could, we'd all have a dozen copies of torchlight in our libraries! ;D

Apparently there is a secret recipe where 10 copies of torchlight can be placed in a horadric cube to get one copy of torchlight 2!

How then do I go about buying multiple keys to lets say 8 rigs for a LAN man fan cave?

Maybe one day. RPGs aren't exactly my genre of choice (well apart from the dabble in text adventures and click and point).

You create another account for each additional copy you want to buy. Or you only play games that don't require unique keys for LAN play.
There is a related question that I have had regarding this:

What do I do if I want to legally install the game on multiple computers in a public computer lab?

(By public, I am thinking of a setting like a library, school, or internet cafe.)

Good question. That would be against the EULA as it stands. So that usage would need to be agreed with GOG / the publisher on an individual basis, as there is no automated ability to purchase those rights.

What? Who is he? Another potato? or a Yuca?

This forum seems to have more in depth story than all those visual novel games combined.

Create multiple accounts and buy the game just as much? I don't see any other way and is of course a more honest approach than to simply buy once and install on each.
