Thankyou for those links (and to RedRagan for asking the question). I'm inspired to revisit the game :-)

aluinie: Yep release Skyrim already or Fallout 4

shantae.: Huh, I'd rather have Microsoft bringing Age of Empire games, here.
Fortunately they are not mutually exclusive.
Yes, you could have both!
Even at the same time!
Running on the same PC with two keyboards!

I don't want Skyrim or Fallout 4, that's the thing.
No need to be rude, just because my opinion is different than yours, mkay? Okay.

RedRagan: Interested in getting Oblivion because of the meme. But to be honest the graphic is ass. Is there even a worthy complete graphic overhaul mod for this game? I heard a lot of projects but most of them was abandoned or just empty promise.

Those actually look pretty good. Even though the bucket full of bloom effect made me suspicious ha ha.

I am not rude.

And i want Skyrim more than AOE, because I have the AOE 1-3 already. I played (yet again) AOE 1-2 through a couple of months ago. While Skyrim, I don't own it yet.

I think it would be rude from me to tell you that I don't want AOE games here but Skyrim, because then you wouldn't be able to buy them from GOG. Not having Skyrim on GOG will not increase your chances of getting the AOE games, and vice versa.

Not sure if I want Fallout 4, but I am not against it appearing here too. The more, the merrier!

GOG, you should look up the definition of fantastic. The day that Skyrim and Doom arrive here will be a fantastic day. These discounts are like bandits wearing glass armor - we've all seen them before...

fronzelneekburm: lel, for whatever reason the Deluxe Edition of Prey isn't listed on the sale page, despite being 67% off and being a way better deal overall (for me it costs just €1.20 more than the regular edition)...
I suppose it was a GOG error because right now the Deluxe Ed. has no discount at all. Same with Mooncrash DLC and that frankly makes the Prey discount incomplete and uninteresting for me. I would like to know if the Deluxe Ed. will have discount in another sale (or the DLC, at least) but for now, i will pass :(
Never got around playing Morrowind. Some say it is worth it, some say that doing so nowadays could be a pain. What do you think, is it better to play Morrowind before Oblivion or better going directly to Oblivion?

If you can put up with some poor elements regarding visuals and gameplay, then it's definitely worth a playthrough. The world especially stands out, in my opinion.
And from the cycle of more broken promises and lies by Todd and his team:

Morrowind was the last game before they started to streamline things in the Elder Scroll series, there are more weapon types, more armour types and pieces (later games pieces just got merged together), more skills weapon wise, no quest markers on the map so you will need to learn your way around (which many see as a plus as even if you get lost you can find some interesting landmarks or caves which can have unique weapons or quests. Gear is also not scaled to your level.
Not bad, but I think it is woth to wait for a higher discount. I already have many games to play until then :)

Thank you very much for the advice. I guess that the world looks good, but the faces of characters, not so much sometimes. No quest markers on the map sounds old school. I wonder if it is possible to add player's marks and notes to the map or to the quests book (I guess not, but it would be nice).

Well there are a lot of mods to Morrowind and some graphical overhaul mods that make the game look comparable to a more modern game and there are open source ports of the engine so it runs better on more modern computers like OpenMorrowind https://openmw.org/en/ .

I doubt Skyrim comes here any time soon because of its Steamworks integration with mods and such. Same with Fallout 4. Often the removal of Steam features is a bigger deal than the DRM.
