I think the first one is ok. I don't much like sports movies, and I don't care for boxing, so the movie didn't do much for me, but I think it's well made for what it is. But I'm a Stallone fan in general. I'm not saying all his movies are great, far from it, but I don't think he gets enough credit as an actor and filmmaker.

It won Best Picture over Taxi Driver. Nuff said, Rocky is evil.

I think Taxi Driver is overrated :P Not bad mind you, just overrated. Still, who cares about Oscars anyway? Titanic got 11, and that's about as bad a movie as you can get.
