Reynolds died today due to cardiac arrest at the age of 82. Not sure if younger people know him, but he was quite an actor back in the day.

Check Boogie Nights from 1997.

RIP Burt.
Another end of an era :(
I am familiar with him but never watched any of his works.

R.I.P. all the same regardless.
daaaaamn! =(

RIP Burt :(
I loved the "Cannonball Run" movies. RiP, man.

R.I.P. Buddy and thank you for the movies.

Trivia: Turned down roles of James Bond, Han Solo (1977) and John McClane in Die Hard (1988).
Another bites the dust. Rip Bandit :(
Read the news earlier today, RIP.

The first two for the better, imo (can't picture him as James Bond or Han Solo), but I think he'd have made a decent John McClane.
Deliverance has come for Burt,R.I.P.
RIP.
I'll remember him as the horny old congressman from Striptease who wanted to shag Demi Moore (who would blame him?)

Rest in peace.

Oh boy, he sure was picky. Probably didn't expect them to turn out so successful.

While those movies are fine just the way they are, I think he could have pulled off all of those roles. That's the thing about good actors -- They often manage to surprise you, given the opportunity. In example, before "Breaking Bad" I had only seen Bryan Cranston in Comedy roles.

(would have done a great Lando, though)
