Since it's an older game and they're trying to put it on Steam, I wonder if this unofficially confirms an upcoming release on GOG.

Dark confession: I owned the first Bubsy game and didn't even hate it. I guess I'd have to play it again to see what I think of it now, but at the time it was just another mascot platformer in an ocean of them.

I've heard from several people that the Bubsy series was decent though a bit average, until 3D of course.

I don't see the point...

Effectively they are trying to milk a franchise that wasn't that good to begin with because it's there. Just from what I've seen, it's probably similar to Golden Axe on steam where it's just an emulator running a rom.
