Gydion: Isn't that exactly what it says? It's how I read it. Guessing this will also keep the original game ID.
moonshineshadow: I'm just wondering, because yes, that is what it sounds like, but at least for the games I have which have seperate soundtracks, the soundtrack is not a seperate entry in the library, it is found under the game extras.
That does apply to OSTs that were bought as game extras, yes. The two OSTs in question here will, however, be separate products now. As for the logistics and the whys, this is something that has been talked through between our product team and the developer, and the solution's been agreed upon and seen as most acceptable for both sides.
fables22: Well, a lot of the time, it's not entirely our decision. But we do always try and do what we feel is right.
HypersomniacLive: I'm fully aware of this, hence why I focused on mentioning the devs/pubs.
Still don't see why they have to be removed and re-added as separate products though. To the best of my knowledge, DLC is added to the game, and not listed separately in one's game library, why is this case handled differently?
The in and outs of this were discussed between our product team and the developer, and this is the solution most acceptable for both sides, so hence why. Sorry if that doesn't answer your question per se, but the reality is that not all cases can be handled exactly the same way. We do, however, always try and keep things as consistent as we can, but we also have to be a bit flexible in the way we deal with things such as this.
