To celebrate the first week of a mediocre sale, here's a publisher who only brings table scraps from dead/damaged franchises!

Seriously, Bethesda, bring Doom 2016 or GTFO.

I'd even settle for Doom 64 though I'd prefer the Wolfstien 2009 game that is currently seemingly in limbo do to riughts based trouble

Still Fallout 4 would be great in my mind and seeing as the creation Club crude seems dead for Fallout 4 but not Skyrim our best current bet for Bethesda owned games currently I'd say is Doom 64 and Fallout 4 at the moment ..Edited in.. I bring these games up as both was made before Doom 2016.. though as a added thought Rage would be a better bet then Fallout 4 given its even older and if I ain't mistake Bethesda has the rights to the Rage ip

Yeah, at least something from the era when Bethesda games were tolerable in quality. Really is a shame that Wolfenstein 2009 is trapped behind a wall of red tape.

I just don't see GOG getting any new Doom games as the franchise is still successful, technically so is Fallout. Rage is a likely candidate though, but I'm actually surprised we didn't get the execrable Wolfenstein: Youngblood with this announcement.

That's basically every mainstream publisher here :p Not sure if we'll be seeing more AAA releases - no matter how bad they are - in 2022, I feel like the spring sale would have been an appropriate time for a major release

I've seen some times AAA games pop near the end or right after a big seasonal sale oddly

Isn't youngblood the one that had the huge microtransaction drama happen and bad story ? If so could be a reason Gog hasn't accepted it because its more recent dramas I suppose thats why.. As for Fallout eh Fallout Shelter and Fallout 76 are the money makers now for microtrasnactions and season pass bs

But for me I am surprised Rage hasn't shown up given how dirt cheap the first game is regularly let alone how often it games on sale why a drm-free release has yet to happen

Yeah it is, I forgot about the microtransactions as I completely wrote the game off long ago, but you're probably right that that's why it isn't here. Not that that's a loss.

And yeah, Fallout is making bank off the people gullible enough to pay for Fallout 76, so they'd consider the franchise still profitable, and thus, not ready to scrape the GOG barrel with yet.

Rage is an odd case though, I expected that one here either long ago, or after Rage 2 launched to complete apathy.

Eh I'd call them digital money machines rather then successes at this time but still I'd assume given Fallout 4 is literally seemingly dead microtrasaction wise it'd have atleast popped up here as I think its been now a year and a half if no 2 years sense the creation club had more conten Fallout 4 wise.. granted that seems related to the mess of seasion pass O.G wording and Bethesdas spoke personal trying to weasel out of giving creation club away by first calling em ''mini dlcs'' and other nonesense till changing the season pass wording and people has gathered to sue bethesda over that

Anyway back on topic Ya similar on Rage for me .. even more seeing as data miners found in the page codes or whatever some time ago like 2 or so years ago Code that was for Rage on Gogs side.. but its not materialized yet
From what game is the headline/title picture from on the various deal pages linked to in the announcement post up-top ?. One example page being this one :

https://www.gog.com/en/promo/spring_games_festival_classics

I've searched all the deal pages and have had no luck finding the game it belongs to. Can anyone please help ?...

Spring week is over here in California, US. We're already getting 26.7C / 80F and higher weather. It's cooling down for a bit because enough people washed their cars to summon rain, but it's still pretty much summer.

The only solution to this is for GOG to put even more games on sale so that there can be simultaneous winter, spring, and summer sales.

Do try and use the metric system like the rest of the world. :P

(Also I noticed you put the metric temperature in your post, this is tongue in cheek.)

ciemnogrodzianin: ...and for Interplay games.
Let's hope for some awesome bundle offer on Monday!

I've edited my prior post to put celsius first and fahrenheit second. The US is metric challenged, so I cannot remove fahrenheit completely because this country insists on using a less efficient measurement system. I don't want to confuse my countrymen as 26.7F would be below freezing, which isn't possible at all here outside of December and maybe January.

March = End of Spring / Beginning of Summer. Summer continues to October.

I'm afraid this is one time where America is right and the rest of the world is wrong, and that doesn't happen very often. I'm British but I had to flee my motherland to the USA so I could go on using Fahrenheit and escape the abomination that is Celsius. I'm never returning to Britain till this madness ceases. Even bloody Brexit hasn't shifted the C thing. The one time Brexit could have redeemed itself and it just sulks in the corner and does nothing.
What's wrong with Celsius, you ask? Freezing to hot in 26 measly little numbers. There isn't enough range! With Fahrenheit you have a great feeling for how hot, or cold it is - 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s - you can feel instantly the heat, or lack thereof, the second you see the Fahrenheit number. Completely lacking in Celsius. I have to Bing the temperature converter to figure what my British friends are grumbling about today.
( Also tongue in cheek! :-P )
