I made a topic 2 days ago but since the game forums are a bit dead atm, I thought I might as well put a link here ;).

(this is what's in it: The game starts but after a few seconds it freezes (ingame).

After trying some fixes and installing de fsaa patch the game doesn't even launch anymore.

Any fix?)

I suggest contacting Support.
Unless they improved that will take ages, if someone here knows a fix that will take minutes ;)
*shrug* Support may take a few days to churn through to an answer, but they'll likely be able to help.

Otherwise you're gambling that someone who knows a fix will open this topic. I know which way I'd lean by this point, but its your game and your call.
I have win10, i did a fresh install of BR2, played the first level with no issues. So, it is not an OS issue with the game.

It looks like it is an issue with the mod you are using,

This thread discusses at length some issues that sound similar, there's features you cannot use, and settings discussions here:

if none of that helps, my advice is to play vanilla and wait for someone to update the mod.
You need to give a lot more info. For example, what are the system specs? Graphic card? What have you tried already?

For step 1: Try running it as administrator. Also make sure you are not installing it to a system folder.

Since it is crashing, have you tried updating or depreciating your graphics drivers?

I tried running the game on Windows 10 and I also experienced some random freezes. What I did and it seems to have fixed the issues, is to follow the advice given here: https://www.gog.com/forum/bloodrayne_series/bloodrayne_2_hangs_on_windows_10/post3 and copy two DirectX dlls (tridx8tl.dll and TRIGL.dll) to the game's directory. You should be able to find both files in the installation directory of the first BloodRayne game, or if you don't have it, you could try your luck with another DirectX 8 game.

Yeah I had that mod installed but win10 didn't like it anymore. I did a fresh install of bloodrayne 2 then (making sure everything was deleted) but it still happened.

Yeah tried all that, not going to downgrade a driver (not that anxious to play).

Hmmm, you could also enable v-sync via NVidia's control panel.

didn't work, thx for all the suggestions though
so unfortunately no real fix... Support couldn't help either. Might try an older pc, but I don't know if that old beast will run it. Will try when i feel like it ;)
A good start would to retrace your steps and undo what you did. A game that barely runs is a better step than one that doesn't run at all.
Did you tried to uninstall the game and install it again?
If you do that, then see if it works without that patch.

Yeah I did all that. Same result. Patch didn't work anymore ( only got a quarter screen, but it would also crash). Uninstalled everything, deleted everything, reinstalled without patch. Starts fullscreen but crashes ingame in menus...
