snowkatt: well the problem is i cant go for a high powered video card i dont have the room or the watts needed
an radeon 7770 needs to run on a 400 watt psu at the very least
and my psu cant provide that or risk a brown out at best
and im not going to hork up x amount of money for a card i cant use
so i need low power cards with passive cooling
kind of a shame really because this machine is excellent otherwise
but the geforce 730 does the job well enough i have no complaints
having a 3.39 ghz haswell with 12 gig of ram im sure helps a bit too
Ah I see. What would you say is the most resource intensive game you can run with it, and run well? Which is kind of a silly question :P Most anything will run well if you bump down the graphics. an radeon 7770 needs to run on a 400 watt psu at the very least

Put it this way, if you had to show off what the gpu is capable of, what game would choose?
Seeing as I'll probably wind up forking out quite a bit on a proper ups to deal with out erratic power grid, I might have to start with a lower end psu and gpu myself one day.
