darthspudius: Honestly, I don't like his work. Iron Maiden did a lot of great stuff up until Brave New World. Went seriously off after that. But no doubt he would praise the big four, forget who exodus are and Pantera being the greatest thing ever which is absolutely laughable.
avatar
Elmofongo: Speaking of Exodus and it might be a controversial statement I think Rob Dukes is a better singer than Paul Baloff.

And I think the Let There Be Blood remake is better then the original:

I liked Dukes better than Baloff, but he is nowhere near as cool as Souza! Exodus are playing my town in a few months. A tiny little club. I can't wait! :D Their albums since Tempo of the Damned have surpassed most thrash albums that doesn't belong to Testament haha.

On that we can agree. Souza was the first singer for Testament on day 1.

While Chuck Billy's gutteral vocals is certainly thrash I also love Souza's screech:

I think they're both fantastic. They have a certain charming quality to them. Unlike say Hetfield, Araya etc who are just noisy grunting toads.

What do you think of Testaments The Ritual?

Have not listen to the album except for one song and its the ballad song, Return to Serenity:

That song along with The Ballad, The Legacy, and Cold Embrace blows Metallica's Ballad songs anyday (yes even One)

Return to Serenity is a wonderful song. Seriously unappreciated in its time. You should check out the album, it gets a lot of flack for not being "thrash" enough. But the use all their skills to the max on that record. Lots of great lyrics, riffs, time changes and so on. It's my personal favourite.

Well the early 90s for the most part was the last year of real heavy metal for alot of bands.

And come on if I can tolerate listening to Metallica's Black Album and Slayer's Seasons in the Abyss, I might listen to this album ;)

I think the Black Album is real good, can't say the same for Slayer mind you. The Ritual is more along the lines of what Megadeth did on Countdown to Extinction. Refined their writing skills etc. Straight from my own website haha!

Your website's tablet oriented inteface is making my desktop sad :(

Anyway the Song Deadline sounds like a Motorhead song, and I say that in a good way.

No I just can tell by looking at it.

Big squares that makes it easy for people using their fingers along with Big Text. Flash animation for things when you hover the mouse cursor over it. Very flat look.

Tablet interface.

Not that the website is not functional its certainly not a complete clusterfuck of a mess like PC Gamer's home page:

Oh ok I get you. Thought it broke for a minute there. Problem we had is that we needed a simple design that would make people actually look at other articles. It worked too, we more then double our views since we uploaded the new layout. Silly really.
For me it's Sabbath, but they have a special place in my heart for being the first band I ever bought an album for. I listened to Paranoid and War Pigs until my ears fell off

And don't worry I have seen worse websites who interface is so for only Tablets that navegating them on a desktop with a 1080p monitor is a chore.

Personally the best example of an interface for desktops is blizzard's websites:

http://us.battle.net/wow/en/

I mean even their more tablet interface makes up for being EPIC:

So I digged around in your website and found out your into Machine Head. And reviewed the Blackening, my absolute favorite album from the band.

All killer no filler. Best track the opening Clenching the Fist of Dissent, Second best Now I Lay Thee Down.
