GOG version of Oaken is v1.1.6 vs 1.1.7 on Steam which has a few bug fixes (released December 2023)

Thanks but no thanks, I don't want another abandoned and outdated game in my library, not even for free.

Lets assume gog staff told the ip holder of the game, they were giving it away for free. One would assume the game ip holder would kind of already know there is an update for their own game and should have provide it a long time ago.

At the very least gog staff should have known about the update. Hoping for people to do their job, makes free even lackluster.
