will be any Black Friday discounts this year? If yes what dates will be starting?

Wild guess: At Friday?
I'm not sure I like the way you said 'black'.
Hm, that would be nice indeed. Although not sure if gog did those till now.
I'm sorry, but when did this place become Sears?

It hasn't, thankfully. Every Sears I've been in feels like a time warp back to 1987.
Same thing with K-Mart, only I think they're a time warp to roughly 1992.

All I can think of now is 500 suburbanites piled up outside a store clamoring to get in and beat the fuck out of whoever grabs the last Tickle Me Elmo or whatever the hell it is the kids want this year. :P

British soccer riots don't get this violent.

That's why you want to shop smart, shop S-Mart!
Right now i can't even think at the "black friday". We had our very own Black Friday, last week, in the night between 30 and 31 october

So, i'm a bit touchy on that right now on the subject. Yeah, i know, hijacking...

And now I'm having flashbacks to working Black Friday at a Walmart...
Thank you so much for that. >=P

I wouldn't shop if I went there. I'd just hang out with Bruce Campbell all day long. And it would be awesome.

Yeah, dude, Black Friday is not the preferred nomenclature. African-American Friday, please.

I worked B. Dalton on several Black Fridays. Now being a bookstore it wasn't NEARLY NEARLY NEARLY as bad as Walmart, but it was inside of a mall, which made the entire place a surrealistic planet onto it's own. The best way to describe it would be in the movie "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" when they enter the 'Circus Circus'. Ten million kids running around, fucking flashing bulbs and Christmas Trees everywhere, Santa Clauses stationed every 25 feet, and that goddamn Christmas music blasting at a level loud enough to ensure they could fucking hear in up on the Space Shuttle!

I just sum it all up as this - "Ya know, if a nuclear bomb hit this place right now, killing me and everyone else in the vicinity, turning everyone to nothing but radioactive ash in the wind, it wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing."

Thats because we dont have soccer here.
