teshra: Thanks for tracking.
Are you going to edit your first post with each successive game or make a new post each time? Only reason I ask is if this thread gets too big, knowing the games we may have missed in the first post is quicker than searching thru the thread.
Yes, I'll edit the first post as soon as a new offer arrives. If I haven't updated the list 30 minutes after a new offer arrives it probably means I have failed the Insomnia test. Or in other words, I'm sleeping ;-)

In that case it would be nice if someone from the Euro zone could post the offer and the price in this thread and I will update the first post when I'm back online.

Warrior_Wolfsbane: If you look at the bottom, it mentions "upcomingInsomniaData," "dateStart," and then "tags," which show all the game's tags instead of only the first three.
avatar
Ancient-Red-Dragon: So then, would someone be able to identify and then post the whole list of all the upcoming Insomnia deals, and the exact times and dates at which they will be active?

If so, that would be very useful if someone actually did that.
Only GOG employees have the complete list at this point. Us customers only know what has already been offered and what will be next.

Geralt_of_Rivia: That Insomnia was hardly unexpected since it was announced yesterday. ;-)
Only recently have started to actively use GoG - so no yet up to speed on all things GoG, but will get there.
Thanks to the Steam Deck, am making sort of a comeback to gaming - "new" to GoG, but old to gaming ;)

Hm, another Insomnia with the "upcoming" info still up.

I'd love to help keeping the past & upcoming titles list up-to-date like the community did during the Summer Sale, but I won't really have the time. However, if anyone else would like to help @Geralt_of_Rivia (thank you for taking initiative :)), it looks like the API didn't really change, so my old Python script (GitHub repo) seems to still work just fine to help automate the job a bit (just delete the existing "offers.txt" from Summer Sale in the repo / add this sale's "past offers" info).

Geralt_of_Rivia: I try to update this list as soon as possible.

Train Valley (1.29€)
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger (2.49€)

Next up: Scorn
Could you perhaps also add the percentage discount for each item going forward? It was 87% for Train Valley and 80% for CoJ Gunslinger.

I believe it would make the list more useful for people outside of Western Europe, who have different game prices.

No problem.
Thank you. I doubt I'll buy anything, but I'm curious what's on offer. I've run out of games on my wishlist at high enough discounts, and last time the insomnia discounts were just an extra 5% versus those that were already there.

This time the deals seem to be more like you would expect them from an insomnia sale ... so pretty good discounts and low numbers of copys.

The current game, Scorn is -25% compared to the -20% regular discount. It's exactly what I was talking about. I'm definitely not going to lose any sleep for this sale. It remains to be seen if I'll come across anything that interests me. Last time, I did end up buying a game as a gift, so who knows?

I think it's imposible to buy a game as a gift from Insomnia. Or perhaps it's just impossible for me, because I've already owned the game.

Although I didn't complete the transaction, I just tried with the latest offering.

If you don't already have the game, you can proceed to checkout and click the "gift this order" option.

Unlike the RPG and Strategy bundles, there is no error message when trying to gift the order.

I'd say that only 25% off for Scorn definitely means that not all of the Black Friday Sale Insomnia deals live up to GOG's descriptor of them as being "insane."
25% for a game which has been released last month and and some of you guys still want MORE? WOW!

It's the latter.

The latest newsletter boasts "the highest ever discount" for a game that was just added to the store 7 hours ago, so you know the marketing department takes a few liberties with their copy.

To be fair, Scorn as a game is bit on the "insane" side of things, discount or not :)
I imagine also Evenicle 2 will be -25% max
