SpooferJahk: Yep, sadly, and since I work retail I have to work on Black Friday!

Basically for those out of the loop, it is when various retail stores around the U.S. open very early the day the day after Thanksgiving and have a lot of sales on various items and is usually a first come first serve ordeal. On paper that sounds okay, but in execution it causes a lot of customers to fight over items which Black Friday is infamous for. Never been to a store on that day myself but as an employee... it's going to be an experience.

tinyE: And I worked Black Friday in a mall for five years myself.
Any tips for a newcomer? Aside from trying to get battle armor and a taser?

NuffCatnip: I dont know who it was that mentioned it, but the comparison to The Purge is fitting. xD

tinyE: Actually I always thought English football fans were a more apt comparison.
this i believe XD

NuffCatnip: You are a brave man.

tinyE: Now you know why I live in the north woods, nearest town population of 88. XD
The way things are headed 86 people may be too much for me to handle.

Ive seen some shit

Y'know Black Friday is pretty much English Football minus the football and some pepper spray thrown in.

Not so fast Mr. Canada! What's with Vancouver getting burned to the ground every time they lose in the Cup Finals!? :P
So basically it's Boxing Day then? Damn Americans always trying to be unique. Personally I think Britain, Australia, New Zealand, the US and Canada should be the same country - Anglo-Saxon land or something - seeing as we share the same language, culture and heritage (pretty much).

Leonard03: So it's almost Black Friday, and many places have sales started already.
My question is, what would you guys look for in sales? How much percent do you want to see off? Any places you look in particular?
I'm hoping to finally make the investment in a new PC, without breaking the budget.
Look at TigerDirect or NewEgg. Check for deals from now through "Cyber Monday".
Because you can't get trampled shopping on the Internet!
When I last shopped for a PC, I found one about 1/3 off the price.

I keep my eye on dealigg.com (and sometimes slickdeals.net) that organize some good deals.
I'm just annoyed that Microsoft is limiting Black Friday sales on the Windows 10 store and $1 Xbox Live Gold to the US.
I always find this weekend depressing.
So I will place a New Order on Blue Monday...
...
Tumbleweed rolls past...

Oh well, Happy Thanksgiving Day to my Canadian and American brethren.

Awesome compilation.
Good thing the equivalent of Black Friday in China only happens online otherwise the destruction would be even more devastating than that.
