Basically for those out of the loop, it is when various retail stores around the U.S. open very early the day the day after Thanksgiving and have a lot of sales on various items and is usually a first come first serve ordeal. On paper that sounds okay, but in execution it causes a lot of customers to fight over items which Black Friday is infamous for. Never been to a store on that day myself but as an employee... it's going to be an experience.
And I worked Black Friday in a mall for five years myself.

I was reading an article where it stated Black Friday is diluted with the internet, and people being able to order anything on line and have it delivered rather than go to a brick and mortar, and that it is not the bench mark for corporations that it once was.

What I don't understand is why you'd actually celebrate a market crash off all things.

For the americans under us who particapated in it one way or another: how accurate was South Parks description of it? I'm curious just how horrible it is.
