Hi, I was curious about this, the request for this game to be on GoG is about the 2nd most wanted game on here and I was wondering how come it hasn't been added yet? Is EA preventing them from aquiring a licence?

If a game is not here it is most of the time a problem with the rights to the game. Either it is not clear who has the rights, or the company having the rights to the game does not want to release it here or can't reach an agreement with gog.
In a few cases it can be because of technical problems that gog can't solve to make it run on modern systems, but I don't think that is happening very often.

With crazy-highly-desired games like B&W, it is basically one of two issues: legal (like you suggested - company doesn't want to work with GOG, the rights are split between multiple parties who don't wanna work together, etc.) or technical (GOG can't get the game working on modern machines up to their standards).

On the contrary.

People expected Populous and got Tamagotchi and were disappointed.
Now they now they get tamagotchi and get some nice Populous on top :-)

I also think System Shock 2 is crap so I think we have established that I have NO taste. XD

Hey me too. Or more like, it has some serious flaws in its design (e.g. some of the enemy types make playing very tiresome at times).

Then again I was similarly disappointed with e.g. Thief Gold, but I liked its atmosphere and story though.
