It’s a happy day for classic enthusiasts – not one, not two, not even three… But four titles and two budles from Bitwave Games are joining the GOG catalog! Let’s take a look at them, shall we?

You can now get:
Dogyuun
Twin Hawk
Grind Stormer
Truxton 2
Toaplan Arcade Shoot'em Ups 4
Toaplan Arcade Shoot'em Ups Ultimate Collection

Check them out!

Okaay... I've never been an arcade kid back then and... never since. Well, aside from playing some Metal Slug...

Which one of these games can you guys recommend me as a beginner?

This new releases have some problems now at release, so I'll wait a little bit for a Patch, but if you want to play some of Toaplan games by Bitwave the most beginner friendly in my opinion is Vimana.

once again either delayed or complete oversight (incompetence) for the ultimate pack. the four pack as always, basically $20. but the ultimate pack on steam (and here too it should be!!) a bit cheaper still. loyalty reasons. costs $17ish since you (if you do) own all other games. ..which i do, both there and there too. (yesssss, foolish double dipper - whatevs) but here, on gog, oh gee wiz, no such discount. bastards. so i don't care if it will be fixed, i'm not waiting but pointing out that again, we are jibbed on this platform. lazy and/or incompetent fools - all round. so yeah, i'll drop that $20 like it's friday night, but still b/s.
Yeah GOG really needs to implement bundle pricing that takes into account owned games like on that other storefront. I haven't played any of these games but I'd like to try one. But if I buy one now and then decide to get the others later, I'll end up paying more than buying the bundle up front. And I don't want to get the bundle up front because I haven't tried any of them. See the problem GOG?

I can say that the games have been updated and now work correctly!
Always happy to see new arrivals here (whether or not I be interested)...
Thanks GOG and Bitwave for these classics! :)
