Public Service Announcement: Be warned, if you buy the Mystery Game as a gift, there is no guarantee that you won't get a game you already own. This has been standard practice in GOG sales for a while now. Basically the computer picks the game at time of purchase, and when you buy a gift code, it assumes that anything goes.

I think it will get you a game you don't own from the list first. If you own all the game in the list, you will randomly get a game you own from the list.

I bought 5 gamble gift, the first 4 is games I don't own, and the fifth is a game I own. I cross check my library with your list, and all the game in your list is in my library.

Also you may want to correct the name in your list "Grey Matter" because I cannot find it in the library, typing "Gray Matter" show it up.

Which is a big resounding meh. I'll convert them into gift codes, and hopefully, someone with a spare copy of Gone Home will want to trade.

Unless there's an absolute gem of a game added later on in the sale, I think I'm done gambling on piñatas. ;)

Dear GoG,

If you implemented this feature and the mystery boxes couldn't duplicate I'd be a lot more motivated to try the mystery box! =)

Hmm, that would seem to indicate that the third one was one of the theorized limited quantity titles, and its "stock" was replenished between your 2nd and 3rd times gambling. Was Raiden III the third Mystery Game you got?

Guess I lucked out. I only got one single mystery game, since I wanted to make sure before doing any serious gambling whether I was affected by the mysterious mystery game bug. Turns out, not only was I not affected, I also got Anna's Quest, which is the mystery game I was by far most interested in.
