I'd vote Psychonauts, mostly since it's a game i've nearly beaten (except the final level, which requires a perfect run up a circus...), while the other ones i haven't touched. (Well i started BG&E but i never quite got into it... Actually i think i started PoP too but the lack of options to reverse the directions was too annoying so i never played it past 20 minutes as my view kept seeming uber drunk when you press up and it points down, and you reverse it repeatedly... nothing like re-training yourself on what used to be second nature)

1. Psychonauts
2. Beyond Good & Evil
3. Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time
For me, it's dead simple: Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time.

I tried the other two:
- BG&E was nice but I lost interest at some point. I guess I'm not much of a photographer.
- Psychonauts was horrible gameplay wise (crazy platforming) and I quit it very early on.

POP:SOT, on the other hand, I have already played three times and planning a fourth soonish.

Does gog version work with xbox controller? Because I downloaded the demo and I can't my xbox controller to configure via game menu settings.

Worst case scenario you can just use Xpadder.
with these, go all in :)

johnperk: Ya'll have made it so hard for me to decide. They all seem great! I'm downloading demo's for each game and I'll decide from there. I hope they work on Win10 they are old demo's from fileplanet.
Psychonauts was the first game I immediately fell in love with from the demo. I hope you feel the same after you try it out.

I believe the last time I played it was with an XBox controller. Not sure. I can install and check later today and tell you.

No need to. I figured it out and could map most of the essential controls to my xbox controller without 3rd party software. Had to leave out controls such as walk toggle, alternate view, etc. Don't know if this will effect me during gameplay.

If you have xpadder you can check out this topic to get everything you need to have all keys set up so that it works like any other game (left stick controls both walking and running):

johnperk: I heard all three of these games are good and they seem to be some of the highest user rated on gog.com. If I had to pick one to purchase, which one should I go with?

This is coming from someone who enjoys 3rd person action/adventures & grew up on the older Tomb Raider PC games (1-3).
PoP SoT is the most action/adventure 3D of the bunch.
Beyond Good and Evil is sorta Zelda Ocarina of Time.
psychonauts is sorta lucasarts adventure.

All are goddam masterpieces. Love them to bits. I couldn't say which one you should buy, they are so fundamentally different. But it sounds like PoP SoT would be the game for you.

(just never buy any of the PoP sequels, and especially not the Warrior Within)

Definitely Psychonauts!
I had a chance to play all these games, and my favorite one is Beyond Good & Evil.

Taste is a personal thing.  Here are three gameplay videos to help you in this difficult task :

 ▪  Beyond Good & Evil
 ▪  Prince of Persia: Warrior Within
 ▪  Psychonauts
Personally I'd go for Evil Genius, Hotline Miami, Startopia or Hitman: Silent Assassin over those.
